How to Choose the Right Mona Gearless Traction Machine for Elevator Projects

Mona, also known as Monadrive, is one of the most recognized Chinese brands in the gearless elevator traction machine market. Its permanent magnet synchronous gearless traction machines are widely used in new elevator installations, modernization projects, and replacement applications. For many international elevator contractors, Mona is popular because it offers a broad model range, practical technical matching, competitive cost, and stable supply for overseas projects. In markets such as the Middle East and South America, Mona gearless machines are often requested for residential buildings, commercial elevators, and modernization jobs where reliable traction performance and easier sourcing are both important.

A gearless traction machine is the core driving unit of a traction elevator. Compared with traditional geared machines, a gearless machine uses a permanent magnet synchronous motor structure, which helps reduce mechanical transmission loss, save space, and support smoother elevator operation.
